If you’re looking to help support your local honeybees and pollinators, using native plants in your own garden is one of the easiest and most direct ways. Pollinators depend on naturally occurring plants for their health and survival. In fact, non-native plants will not always be able to provide enough nectar or pollen for local populations to survive.

Native plantings also generally boast longer blooming periods, and require less maintenance and fewer protective measures than other selections. And while we’re busy making our landscapes beautiful, pollinators will be thanking us in so many ways!
