  • Bred by the co-founder of Iseli Nursery in Oregon and named after him, 'Jean's Dilly' is a remarkable dwarf conifer. Very small, growing to only 3 feet tall and 1 foot wide and very slowly at that! Only 2-4 inches a year. If you're a conifer collector, you won't want to pass this one up. Its foliage is even denser than the typical Alberta spruce with a distinctive twist to the needles during the growing season. Although they can withstand a part sun situation, they perform best when planted in full sun with regular watering, while the soil should be well draining as Alberta spruce don't appreciate soggy roots. Don't crowd these conifers either. The foliage is so dense that good air circulation is a must to keep them healthy.
