  • Bred from the 'Conica' Alberta spruce, 'Sander's Blue' has the same pyramidal shape and texture. The difference? The needles of 'Sander's Blue' spruce trees are a soft blue-green with a waxy white coating gaining them the common name white spruce. Although they can withstand a part sun situation, they perform best when planted in full sun with regular watering, while the soil should be well draining as white spruce don't appreciate soggy roots. Don't crowd these conifers either. The foliage is so dense that good air circulation is a must to keep them healthy.
